Why we made MyPetVault
A pet owner came to us with a fear every pet parent knows. The late-night vet visit where you can't remember what your dog is on, what dose, when the last shot was. The records are scattered across vet printouts, pill bottle labels, phone photos, and memory. In an emergency, every second you spend looking is a second your pet doesn't have.
The idea
One place. Everything about your pet. On your phone. Ready.
Take a photo of any vet paper — a receipt, a pill label, a discharge sheet — and we save it as a real record on your pet's page. The visit. The pill. The shot. The weight. No retyping. No filing.
How it works
You snap a photo. We read what's on the paper and pull out the parts that matter. Each one shows up as a card. You swipe through them and accept what's right, edit what needs a fix, or skip what isn't a record. Nothing saves to your pet's page until you say yes.
We could skip the check and save everything for you. We don't. The few minutes you spend looking at the cards are what makes the records you build up trustworthy at 2 a.m. when you actually need them.
The experience
Three steps to add a pet: name, kind, a few details. Each pet gets their own page with active pills, the visits they've had, the shots they're due for, the allergies you need to remember. Reminders ping you before things lapse.
Who it's for
Pet owners who want peace of mind. The person at the emergency vet who needs their dog's full pill list in two seconds instead of two hours of digging through phone photos. Households with two or three or four pets where missing a dose or forgetting an allergy could be dangerous.
This app is in active development. We're heads-down on making sure the experience is calm, the records are accurate, and the moment you actually need it, it's there.
