Your account.
Email, password, signing in, signing out.
Most account stuff lives in the app.
Sign in, sign out, change your email, delete your account — it’s all in the app under Settings. The one exception is forgotten passwords, which you reset right here on the website (see below).
Signing in and out.
Open the app and tap sign in. Use the email and password you picked when you signed up. To sign out, head to settings and tap sign out.
Forgot your password?
Head to our reset page on this website, type the email on your account, and tap Send reset link. We’ll email you a link that lasts one hour. Open the message, tap the link, choose a new password, then head back to the app and sign in.
Changing your password (when you remember the old one).
That lives under Settings in the app. The reset page on this website is only for the "I forgot my password" case — if you already know your password and just want a new one, do it from inside the app.
Changing your email.
That lives under Settings in the app too. If you can’t get into the app at all, write to us from the email on your account at support@mypetvault.org and we’ll sort it out.
Signing in on a new device.
Get the app on the new phone, tap sign in, and use the same email and password. Your pets and records show up the same as on the old phone.
Two-factor and single sign-on.
Not yet. Email and password is all we have at the moment. We may add more sign-in options later.
Deleting your account.
You can do it from inside the app under Settings, or read the steps on our delete account page.
